Festival of cheese

Festival of cheese and a national competition for the small cheese producers from Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia was created as a joint project of Slow Food konvivia hills, farm processors Association of Colleges and Secondary Technical School of Food and dairy Kroměříž.

Slow Food is a non-profit eco-gastronomic association, which was founded as a resistance against the massively-borne globalized eating style fast-food, industrial large-scale food and standardize their appetite, constantly accelerating pace of life, the disappearance of local gastronomic traditions and weakening people’s interest in it what kind of food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how its consumption affects the world around them and the environment.
